The researchers from the OPK group want to document and catalogue a collection of known species of opistobranchs (seaslugs) of the Mediterranean sea and Atlantic Iberian peninsula.
Targeted Species & Habitats
About this project
Until relatively recently, seaslugs were exclusively of interest to biologists, but this is no longer the case: divers are increasingly interested in opisthobranchs and enjoy finding and photographing these animals. Using the photographs uploaded by interested divers, the aim of this project is to produce a detailed and atractive catalog of all known species of opistobranchs of the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic shores of the Iberian Peninsula.
