Located between the regions of North Jutland and Southern Denmark, the Central Denmark region is worth discovering. The coastline is strongly influenced by the wind, especially in the West coast, where Holmsland Klit stands out. This thin neck of sand and dunes, nearly 35 km long, separates the North Sea from the Ringkøbing Fjord, creating a beautiful and unique landscape.
Besides the gorgeous nature of this region you can also find the second largest city of Denmark, Aarhus. This Viking-founded coastal city was titled as European Capital of Culture and European Region of Gastronomy in 2017.
