Climbing Tor na Dhumhchna Sea Stack at Glasha with Iain was an unforgettable experience. I've never climbed before and didn't quite know what to expect but I must say, it was way beyond any expectations!!! Iain is an excellent and a very professional guide who makes sure you have the best experience possible. He's very reassuring and makes you feel very safe. There is no sense of rush at any point. He explains everything in a very relaxed manner how to do things and also the reason why, which really helped considering everything was new to me. And when I really got stuck not knowing where to place my foot next :-) he would talk me through every single move and piece of rock formation good to stand on or hold on to. We were out for about 4 hours, did 2 different climbs and I loved every single minute of it. Definitely take your camera with you but if you forget - don't worry, Iain has his own camera and will take tonnes of photos of you during the climb. It's a really exhilarating experience. It challenges you, pushes your limits and gives you an enormous sense of achievement. Standing on the summit couldn't be more rewarding. The views are to die for and all you are surrounded by is the sound of waves crashing against the rocks. I couldn't have wished for a better day out. Thank you Iain. I will be back :-) - Jayne (USA)
