Join a 5-hour horseback riding tour in Rome and ride between the forest and the beach along a coastal natural Reserve, visiting the biggest archaeological area of Europe.
This archaeological and naturalistic 5-hour horseback riding trail in the Coastal Natural Reserve of Rome will take you to visit the largest archaeological area in Europe on horseback. Before the ride, we will get the horses ready and after grooming we will begin the adventure, slowly going through the fascinating pinewood of Castel Fusano, where it is possible to see many wild animals, such as herons, hawks, pheasants and foxes.
We will take some time to walk around some ruins of the ancient port of Rome, discovering step by step the history, myths and legends around the perfectly preserved city, built-in 500 BC. After a short break for an authentic Italian coffee, we move to the seaside for a pleasant ride on the beach.
We conclude the tour with a delicious gastronomic tasting, in a unique bistro belonging to the Renaissance Village and the enchanting Castle of Julius II.

It is possible to arrange a private walking tour inside the archaeological area of Ancient Ostia (45€ for a 3.5-hour tour with entrance ticket included).
A shuttle service is available from the Ancient Ostia Station to the Ranch (ticket price 1.50€). It is also possible to reach the ranch with public transport in 25 minutes from the city centre. The International Airport of Fiumicino is at a 15-minute drive from the Ranch.
