Las Raras is a diving site located at Cape Fisterra, right at "the end of the world", as the Romans used to refer to this area. This is a perfect diving site for all levels, as it does not get any deeper than 14 meters and it is a very accessible, just a few minutes away from the port of the coastal village of Fisterra. The site is made up by a circular area surrounded by white sand with abundant molluscs. The highlight of the dive is undoubtly a forest of kelp and pink gorgonias, which often are the hiding spot of large eels, crabs, spider crabs, sea-breams, giltheads, pintos, rapapelos, saretos, and wrasses. From June to September it is also easy to find hundreds of striped mosaic and santiaguesas.
