Spend 7 amazing days sailing the Mediterranean sea in search for dolphins and whales! Experience what it's like to be a sailor for a few days. Discover hidden beaches, snorkel in crystalline waters, sleep under a sky full of stars! Guided by local experts, you will learn everything about the marine habitats and species of the area, conservation efforts, and life on board. Nights will be spent anchored or in a harbour, depending on location and weather.
After a hearty breakfast at 8am, its sailing time! We will go looking for whales and dolphins, and maybe the odd marine turtle! We will go back to the coast for a light lunch, and will anchor in a bay so we can snorkel over seagrasses, swim, relax, go kayaking or trekking along the coast, or whatever you feel like. We can also hop on the dinghy to survey the coast, land on remote beaches and see the local birdlife.
On days with rough sea we might not go out sailing. In those cases, and depending of whether we are anchored in a bay or at port, we will suggest different activities (kayaking, trekking, diving, snorkeling, etc.).
Our Schooner "Karyam" is 20m long and can easily accommodate 10 people in 5 double cabins with toilet and shower. You will need to bring your sleeping bag, as well as waterproof and warm clothing, sunscreen, hat, beanie for head, sickness pills, towel; everything in a small and non-rigid luggage!
All meals on board are included, as well as kayak and snorkel equipment on board.
Active tourism, accident and liability insurances are included, too.
Please note that weather can be hot in summer, and there is no air-conditioning on board.
Most of activities are carried out in protected areas, and we must take all necessary measures to respect all natural wildlife and preserve the environment during our activities. You will be briefed on best practices on arrival.
Customers will be picked up from the airports of Murcia (San Javier) or Alicante (El Altet).
