Kayak Tour around Vaxholm in Stockholm Archipelago

Great guided kayaking trip. Last week my wife and I joined Milena who runs Skärgårdens Kanotcenter for a guided kayaking tour. It was really a great experience which I can wholly recommend. The people at the center are extremely friendly, competent and enthusiastic, and they provide a great choice of sea kayaks for paddlers of all sizes. We paddled to some smaller islands and had a break on a sandy beach for swimming and a nice lunch that Milena had brought. The landscape is fantastic and you paddle from rather open sea areas to very small canals and along beautiful shores. An absolutely wonderful experience. The tour was amazing - Milena had so much local knowledge and the route was absolutely beautiful. After around an hour and half we stopped on an island for fika which Milena had kindly prepared, including hot coffee, rye crackers, delicious butter and Swedish delicacies. It was a lovely touch. If you're visiting Stockholm I cannot recommend this place enough. It made our trip and it made my boyfriend's birthday. I can't wait to go back. Thank you!
